Marian Atallah is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She received her master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and her PhD from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her research interests lie at the intersection of labor and development economics, with a focus on the measurement and role of skills in the labor markets of low- and middle-income countries.
