Ayça Tekin-Koru

Dr. Ayça Tekin-Koru earned her BSc and MSc degrees in Economics from Middle East Technical University in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and later obtained her PhD in Economics from Purdue University in 2001. From 2001 to 2003, Dr. Tekin-Koru served as a visiting faculty member at Krannert Graduate School of Management, teaching economics courses. Subsequently, she held a faculty position in the Department of Economics at Oregon State University from 2003 to 2011. In 2011-2012, she conducted research at TurkStat, funded by a reintegration grant from TUBITAK. From 2012 to 2016, Dr. Tekin-Koru served as the founding chair of the Business Administration Department at TED University. Throughout her career, she has taught various courses on international economics, game theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and economics of social issues. Ayça Tekin-Koru is a faculty member in the Economics Department, the director of the Trade Research Center, and the dean of the Graduate School at TED University.
