Fateh Belaïd
Principal Fellow, King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC)
Fateh Belaïd is a Principal Fellow in the Climate and Sustainability Team at KAPSARC and an expert in energy and environmental economics. Previously a professor at Lille Catholic University, he led the Smart and Sustainable Cities research unit and collaborated on projects with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and the European Commission. His research focuses on energy efficiency, quantitative policy, behavioral economics, energy poverty, and sustainable cities, with extensive publications in leading journals. Fateh holds a Ph.D. in economics and is widely recognized for his work on energy efficiency adoption and climate change policy.
