Oznur Ozdamar is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Head of the Department of Econometrics in the Faculty of Economics at Adnan Menderes University. She was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Bologna University’s Department of Economics working on a project entitled “The effects of social policies and environmental factors on health status and health problems: a case study of EU and Turkey”. She studied economics and received her PhD from the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies in Italy. During her PhD degree, she was a Research Fellow at Northwestern University in USA where she wrote a significant part of her dissertation. Her research interests are health economics, environmental economics, the economics of gender and social welfare policies.
