Ozan Bakis

Associate Professor of Economics, Bahçeşehir University

Ozan Bakis is an Associate Professor of Economics at Bahçeşehir University. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2006. Before joining Bahcesehir University in 2016, he worked, respectively, at Galatasaray University and the TUSIAD-Sabanci University Competitiveness Forum. He did his postdoc at the University of Montreal in 2011. His research interests lie primarily in firm dynamics (with a particular focus on innovation and productivity); labor market dynamics; macroeconomic modeling and economic forecasting. He consulted for the World Bank, the Turkish Statistical Institute, and other private sector institutions.
