Dr. Aya is a Lecturer of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science, The British University in Egypt. She received her BA majoring in Economics and minoring in Statistics in 2012 from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, French Department-Cairo university . In 2013, she obtained her Master degree in Empirical and Theoretical Economics from University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Paris School of Economics. Dr. Elewa was later awarded her PhD in Economics in 2017 from the from University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Paris School of Economics specialising in International trade and Industrial Organisation (Empirical and Theoretical). Dr. Elewa is interested in research related to International Trade and Industrial Organisation especially competition policy and market structure in trade environmnet. Dr. Elewa has worked as Economic Researcher at the Economics Justice Unit at the Minister of Finance Office.
