Research Positions – J-PAL/ American University in Cairo Initiative for Egypt

The J-PAL/American University in Cairo Initiative for Egypt, a research center based at AUC, works to improve the effectiveness of social programs in Egypt and across the region. The office offers technical and program implementation support to J-PAL affiliated researchers undertaking randomized evaluations in the country and the region; trains and builds the capacity of local researchers to conduct randomized evaluations; and disseminates research results and collaborates with policymakers to integrate findings into current and future development policies and programs.   The J-PAL/AUC Initiative for Egypt is currently hiring candidates for five new positions: Finance and Operations ManagerResearch ManagerSenior Research AssociateResearch Associate (Job Training Project), and Research Associate (Social Protection Project). The selected candidates will be employees of AUC and will be based at the J-PAL/AUC Initiative for Egypt office located at the AUC new campus. These projects offer opportunities to work with Bruno Crepon, Adam Osman, and other J-PAL affiliates and Egyptian co-PIs.   Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
