Rural Employment Conditions, Cost of Conflict, and Food Security in Palestine

This research intends to address three issues regarding development in rural Palestine, explaining wage differential between urban and rural areas (mostly under Israeli control and known as area C), addressing the economic cost of the Palestinian- Israeli struggle. This analysis makes use of the 2011 special quarterly labor force surveys in which a West Bank area is identified according to the political division of the Oslo peace accords.
