Labor Market Dynamics in MENA
This research project aims to explore a number of issues in the labor market dynamics of the region. The project provides an understanding of the important driving labor market trends such as employment, migration, job creation etc…; such dynamic analyses help identify the underlying strengths and weaknesses of the labor market. Understanding market dynamics; this project identifies policy priorities to encourage dynamics and support labor market success and economic growth.
The research work under this project is organized around six interlinked areas; namely employment dynamics, migration and occupational mobility, dynamics of unemployment, household enterprise dynamics and dynamics of informality. Panel and retrospective data comparisons are also drawn across market trends over time to assess accuracy.
