Incentives for Better Quality Higher Education
This on-going project, which covers Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia, explores possible explanations for the poor performance of higher education in the region. It complements a previous project on “Financing Higher Education.” This piece of research investigates the institutional structure governing the operation of universities and whether the incentive structure facing the provider of higher education is compatible with desired outcomes or not.
