The Growth Academy, Middle East and North Africa, organized by University of Chicago and the World Bank, is scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt, April 30 – May 2, 2025. Structured around the key themes of the World Development Report (WDR) 2024 this three-day intensive workshop will focus on the middle income trap and the concepts of creative destruction for middle-income economies. Participants will include think tanks, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from the region, all dedicated to enhancing productivity and economic growth using the latest, most innovative tools.
