Measuring Inequality of Opportunity and Inequality of Outcomes Using Household Data

This one-day workshop was conducted for some 20 Sudanese researchers. It covered techniques of measuring inequality of income, health and education status using a variety of survey data sets from Arab countries. It also covered different methods of linking inequality of outcome to underlying inequalities of circumstances, such as family background, gender and place of origin.
