Yunis Dede completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and a minor in Finance at Uludağ University. He earned his master’s degree from Istanbul University with a thesis titled “Deindustrialization and Determinants of Deindustrialization in Turkey: ARDL Approach and Decomposition Analysis.”, which received an award at the 16th Economic Research Foundation Thesis Competition. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics at Gebze Technical University, where he is also working as a research assistant. He is currently working on his dissertation titled“Essays on Individual Savings and Returns”. His research interests include behavioral economics, macro-finance, individual retirement systems, personal savings, and investment fund performance.
