Younes El Khattab

Younes El Khattab is a Professor of economics at Faculty of law, Economic and Social Sciences – Mohammedia City, (Hassan II University, Casablanca). His current research interests focus on macroeconomic policies effectiveness, financial market microstructure, banking system performance and financial institutions management. He began his career as an economist at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he monitored key performance indicators of financial institutions, wrote a series of research notes evaluating financial sector development policies and contributed to the annual economic and financial report. He received a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking (2009), and a PhD degree in economics (2015) from Hassan II University, Casablanca.
