Yasmine Eissa

Assistant Professor of Economics, Misr International University

Yasmine Eissa is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Misr International University (MIU) and an adjunct Professor at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and Cairo University. She holds a DPhil (2023) in economics from Cairo University, and a MA (2009) and BA (2005) in economics from AUC. Her research interests are at the intersection of global value chains, innovation, and labor markets. She is a former research fellow at the WTO Chairs Program at Cairo University. Her studies are focused on emerging regions and are published in refereed journals on international trade and innovation.
