Yasmine Eissa

Yasmine Eissa is an assistant professor of economics at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the director of the economics graduate program. She holds a PhD (2023) in economics from Cairo University and an MA (2009) and BA (2005) in Economics from AUC. Her research explores the intersection of international trade, innovation, and labor markets, focusing on emerging economies. Her work is published in refereed journals, and she serves as a reviewer for leading journals on international trade and innovation.
