Yasir Abdalla is a renewable energy professional with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in power generation and renewable energy project development. His expertise spans from power plant operations, project management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Khartoum, Sudan. Yasir holds the position of Renewable Energy Director General at the Ministry of Energy and Mining in Sudan and represents Sudan in high-profile regional and international energy forums, such as the Arab League and RCREEE, where he served on the Board of Trustees. Mr. Abdalla has been instrumental in shaping Sudan's renewable energy framework, including drafting the National Renewable Energy Action Plan and related policies. He has overseen various solar and wind energy initiatives. Yasir is recognized for his leadership and contributions to advancing sustainable energy initiatives nationally, regionally and internationally
