Vito Intini

Regional Chief Economist, UNDP Arab States.

Vito Intini is the Regional Chief Economist at the UNDP Arab States. He previously served as Principal Macroeconomic Adviser at UN DESA, leading work on economic transformation, SDG costing, and macroeconomic modeling. Earlier, he directed the global Municipal Finance Programme at UNCDF, headed the Economic Governance Section at UN-ESCWA, and worked as Private and Financial Sector specialist at the World Bank in the Balkans. Vito also worked with the OECD, OSCE, EU, and academia. He specialized in International Economics, and holds master’s degrees in Environmental Policies, Development and Labor Economics, and specialized in Regional Economics and Econometrics during his Ph.D. studies.
