Valerio Leone Sciabolazza is Assistant Professor of Economics at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). His research interests span multiple areas of Economics and Political Science. In his work, a major line of research is dedicated to the empirical analysis of behavioral models of strategic interactions for decision-making. His research appeared in top journals such as the American Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Politics, and he was recently awarded with the Best Article Award from the Center for Effective Lawmaking. For his work, he received grants by the the US National Institutes of Health and the The Italian Ministry for Universities and Research. He serves in the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Geography, and as a consultant on issues related to conflicts, migration, and climate change for IFAD, and the World Bank.
