Taner Turan

Professor in Economics, Gebze Technical University

Taner Turan received his master’s degree in 2006 from North Carolina University and his Ph.D. degree in 2011 from Hacettepe University. He is a full professor in Economics at the Gebze Technical University, Turkey. His primary research interests are macroeconomics, economic growth, fiscal policies, and international economics. In his studies, he has examined the effects of natural resource abundance, polity stability and investments on economic growth.
