Sonia Mhamdi has over 23 years of experience in supporting the creation and development of eco-enterprises, particularly in the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa. As an international expert with UNIDO, she focuses her interventions on institutional strengthening and improving the quality of services in multisectoral establishments to ensure optimal support for ecological transition initiatives and the sustainability of SMEs. Sonia adopts a combined, multi-stakeholder approach to structure and enhance the capabilities of SMEs, guiding them towards sustainable practices and green, circular, and blue economic models. She also works with national and international organizations, providing training for trainers and lead trainers in green entrepreneurship, thus facilitating the integration of sustainable models into entrepreneurial ecosystems and within supported eco-enterprises. She actively contributes to creating inclusive economic environments through initiatives that support women entrepreneurs and enhance created value chains, aiming to reinforce societal impact, particularly through access to eco-product markets.
