Soha Metwally
Assistant Professor in the Department of Demography and Biostatics at the Institute of Statistical Studies and Research, Cairo University
Assistant Professor in the Department of Demography and Biostatics at the Institute of Statistical Studies and Research, Cairo University. She received her Ph.D. in Demography from Cairo University in 2014. She is engaged actively in teaching and developing different courses on Demographic aspects (Measurements of mortality, Advanced topics in migration, … etc). Metwally’s current research interests include migration (internal and international), mortality and morbidity as well as inequality measurement in health and measurement of poverty. Also, she worked in different researches centers and institutes in Egypt, including; the Social Research Center (SRC) of the American University in Cairo (1997-2002, 2012), The Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC)(2008-2010) and POLICY Project/USAID (2002-2005).
