Sarah Najm

Sarah Najm is a NUAct Fellow in Economics of Creative Industries at Newcastle University Business School (UK), and has been an Assistant Professor of Economics at King Saud University for five years. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Reading where she is a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research interests include the role of institutions in generating environmental, social, and fiscal inequalities. Her publication pipeline draws on what might more broadly be called the political economy of institutions in relation to sustainability. Her current work extends to social policy issues, survey design, and the creative industries.
