Sara Kassab is a Ph.D. student in Economics at Concordia University. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, funded by the TLG-MEPI scholarship, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, along with a Teaching Diploma—both funded by a USAID scholarship—from the Lebanese American University (LAU). Her research focuses on applied economics and labor economics, with four published works in reputable academic journals. She was awarded the Young Researcher Award in Social Sciences and Management at LAU. Her professional experience includes working as a Research Associate at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN ESCWA) and Canadian Leaders in International Consulting (CLIC), where she contributed to economic policy research and development projects.
