Samir Radwan

Dr. Samir Radwan was a distinguished Egyptian economist, public servant and development policy expert with more than four decades of national and international experience. He served as Egypt’s Minister of Finance in 2011 and held senior leadership positions at the International Labour Organization, including Director of Development Policy and Technical Cooperation. A graduate of Cairo University and the University of London, he published extensively on employment, labour markets, poverty, industrialization and development. Dr. Radwan also served as Managing Director of the Economic Research Forum and was a prominent voice in debates on inclusive economic development, employment and social justice across the region.
