Sami Mensi
Professor of Economics at ESCT Business School -University of Manouba
Sami Mensi is a Professor of Economics at ESCT Business School -University of Manouba, He is a holder of a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Economics and Management of Tunis. He is a member of the research laboratory in “Economics and Business Strategies” (ECSTRA, LR11ES21 – IHEC Carthage). He contributes regularly to numerous journals and international conferences. He has supervised several theses in economics and finance. He directed 7 doctoral theses and more than 50 master’s theses. In 2014 he attended Al-Baha University in Saudi Arabia, where he worked as a professor of economics. He chaired the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee. Since Sep. 2021, he joined ESCT Business School. He is chairman of the committee of the Master of Research in Banking, Finance and Strategy. He is a member of several thesis and university accreditation juries. He is a consultant on behalf of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the African Bank of Development. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals international. He is also a referee for indexed journals. Its domains of expertise include banking strategies, financial intermediation, Islamic finance, banking market structures,banking efficiency, money and monetary policy, banking governance, Economic Policy Uncertainty and Energy consumption.
