Samer Mehibel is a Researcher at CREAD (Centre de Recherche en Economie Appliquée pour le Développement) in Algeria. Head of the research team « Economic Policies and Economic Modeling ». His main research interest is inflation, monetary and fiscal policy, but he has a specific interest in the dynamics of inflation in rentier countries and has also an interest in spatial Econometrics, food Security and geopolitical risk impacts. He participated in several workshops and conferences in the area of Monetary Economics and Econometrics organised by ERF (Economic Research Forum), MEEA (Middle East Economic Association), EEFS (European Economics and Finance Society), DIW Berlin (The German Institute for Economic Research), SEEC (Spatial Economics and Econometrics Centre – Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh)), The AEEFI (Spanish Association of International Economics and Finance) and EMANES (EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies).
