Rula Alhroob

Secretary-General, Jordan Labor Party

Dr. Rula Alhroob is the secretary general of the Jordan Labor Party and was the chair of the Arab Women Parliamentarians Network for Equality (Ra'edat). She is an academic, researcher, and journalist, as well as a former member of Parliament. She is a board member of the steering committee at the Arab Women Media Center, and the vice chair of JOSAT TV Channel and Al-Anbat Daily Newspaper. She chaired the Human Rights Committee at the Parliament of Jordan, and was a member of Labor, energy, education, and Media committees at the parliament. She is a gender and Media expert, as well as a trainer in education, media, democracy, human rights, women rights, thinking paradigms, communication skills, life skills, women empowerment, and policy drafting, as well as legislation. She hosts a TV Program "Fi Alsameem" and worked as a chief editor of Al-Anbat, and Program Manager of JOSAT, and served as editor and anchor at Kuwait TV and Radio Station, Jordan TV and Radio Station, MBC, ART America. She is an honorary member of the Arab Organization of Human Rights, as well as other Civil Society NGOs
