Rasmi Hamzeh is a seasoned business development consultant with extensive experience leading institutions across diverse sectors as Chief Executive Officer. As the CEO of JREEEF, he successfully transformed the organization from a statutory component of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REEE) Law into a fully operational and efficient national governmental entity. He spearheaded the development of JREEEF’s strategic framework and operational plans, collaborating with international donors, organizations, and NGOs to tackle global climate change challenges while promoting low-carbon economic activities and sustainable energy solutions. Under his leadership, JREEEF has secured significant funding from international donors, launched impactful national awareness campaigns on renewable energy and energy efficiency, and championed the advancement of renewable energy laws and regulations. Hamzeh has actively engaged stakeholders across government, the private sector, NGOs, and local communities to foster broad support for sustainable energy initiatives. His contributions extend to global forums, including participation in climate change discussions at COP events, and leveraging various media platforms to elevate public awareness. Hamzeh is certified in Green Energy Financing/Banking from RENAC, Germany, and in EFQM Assessments. He also serves as an assessor for prestigious awards, including the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence Award, the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance, and the Dubai Government Excellence Program.
