Ousama Ben-Salha

Ousama Ben-Salha is Assistant Professor of economics at the Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia. He joined the ERF as a Research Associate in 2016 and is currently a Research Fellow. He has also served as a Fellow at the Global Labor Organization since 2017. Labor Economics, International Economics, as well as Resources and Environmental Economics are among his main research interests. He is particularly pursuing research on issues surrounding the dynamics of labor markets in the Middle East and North African region. Journals in which his publications have appeared include Energy Economics, Resources Policy, Comparative Economic Studies, and Economic Systems. He has also given several presentations on many development issues at various conferences and served as a referee for many reputable journals, including Economic Modeling, Applied Economics, Energy Journal, and Energy Economics. Ousama Ben-Salha received a PhD and an MSc in economics from the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia.
