Onur Altindag is a health and development economist who studies forced migration, social safety nets and the determinants of health among vulnerable populations. He wrote on the effectiveness of targeting of social welfare programs directed towards refugees, the impact of refugee inflows on host populations, and the interplay between public policy and health. His work has been published in high impact academic journals in economics, public policy, and public health.
