Öner Günçavdı is Professor of Economic Development at the Faculty of Management, Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He holds BSc. degree from ITU, MSc. degrees both from ITU and the University of Warwick, and finally PhD. degree from the University of Nottingham. He is the author of two books and various research papers published in domestic and international academic journals. He widely writes about the various aspects of the Turkish economy and development economics.
