Mohammad Vesal

Mohammad Vesal is an associate professor of economics at the Graduate School of Management and Economics (GSME) at Sharif University of Technology. Mohammad joined Sharif in 2014 after receiving his PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Mohammad teaches graduate courses in Development Economics, Public Economics, Environmental Economics, Econometrics and Microeconomics. His research interests are environmental and resource economics, education, and taxation. Mohammad has served as the research deputy (2021-23) and the head of the economics department (2017-2021). Mohammad also holds MSc Economics, BSc Electrical and BSc Petroleum Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
