Mohammad Mahdi Jafari is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Sharif University of Technology, specializing in energy regulation and public policy. He originally earned a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology before shifting to economics, completing his M.Sc. at Sharif University of Technology. His research focuses on natural gas demand estimation in residential and industrial sectors. He has served as a teaching assistant for advanced courses in econometrics, microeconomics, and digital economics. Additionally, he works as a researcher at the Parliament Research Center, where he analyzes energy subsidy policies and provides data-driven policy reports.
