Director of the National Labor Market observatory, Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills

Mohamed Hazim is a statistician-economist engineer, a graduate of the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA), he also holds a master's degree in "financial management" from Johnson and Wales University in the USA. Since November 2017, he has held the position of Director of the National Labor Market Observatory (ONMT), which reports to the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills of the Kingdom of Morocco. Previously, he held the positions of Head of the General Studies Division and Head of the Foresight Service at the High Commission for Planning, to which he contributed to the realization of major projects such as the Economic and Social Development Plan 2000- 2004, the Population and Housing Census (RGPH 2014), surveys and economic studies, macro-econometric models, or even the forward-looking reflection program "Morocco 2030" which he coordinated. He was also responsible for writing “Les Cahiers du Plan”. As Director of the ONMT, he is currently leading several structuring projects for the implementation of an integrated labor market observation system, such as the release of a panel survey of companies, the implementation of an information platform on the labor market based on big data and artificial intelligence, and the conduct of studies to evaluate employment policies and studies of foresight and anticipation of jobs and skills.
