Mohamed El Arbi Chaffai
Professor of Econometrics, University of Sfax
Mohamed Chaffai is professor of econometrics at the University of Sfax. He is also research fellow with ERF. His research focuses on productivity and efficiency measurement in banking and the manufacturing sectors. Professor Chaffai research interests are in the area of banking, applied econometrics and productivity. Mohamed has published several papers in peer reviewed and significant academic journals in Finance (Journal of Financial Services Research, Journal of Financial Stability, Emerging Markets Review, Global Finance Journal), Economics (Journal of Productivity Analysis, Journal of Development Studies, Revue Economique), Operation Research (European Journal of Operational Research). Professor Chaffai has held several visiting faculty positions in several universities including, the University of Strasbourg, the University of Auvergne, the University of Aix-Marseille and the University of Salerno. Mohamed received his doctorate from the University of Aix-Marseille.
