
Mohamed Adel Dhif

Mohamed Adel Dhif is a Professor of Economics and Quantitative Methods at Tunisia Polytechnic School (EPT) and the Faculty of Economics and Management of Nabeul (FSEGN), University of Carthage. He is also the Director of the Economics and Industrial Management Laboratory (LEGI-EPT) at Tunisia Polytechnic School. His research interests focus on industrial organization, game theory, and economic policy analysis, with a particular emphasis on trade liberalization, market structure, and climate change policies. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Social Sciences, Toulouse I, and a Master’s degree in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the same institution. Throughout his academic career, he has supervised several Ph.D. theses on trade agreements, competition policy, and environmental economics. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Trade and Global Markets and RISEC, and he has contributed to working papers for the Economic Research Forum. Beyond academia, he has played a key role in economic policy advisory. He served as President of the Tunisian Council of Economic Analysis (2013–2015) and was a founding member of the Tunisian Circle of Economists. He has also been active in academic governance, serving as Dean of FSEGN (2006–2013) and leading national commissions for faculty recruitment and habilitation in quantitative methods.
