Dr. Markku Malkamaki is a senior social protection specialist at the ILO in Jordan. He holds a PhD from the University of Bath in Development, Economics and Global Social Policy. He has over 20 years of experience regarding financial sector development and social development. He has profound experience in design, management and implementation of social protection systems and social protection programmes in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Vietnam and Zambia and most recently Jordan.
