Professor, Higher School of Management and Digital Economy, Algeria
Lylia Sami is a Professor at the Higher School of Management and Digital Economy (H.S.M.D.E , Algeria). She obtained her Ph.D. in Statistics and Applied Economics in 2014 from the National Higher School of Statistics and Applied Economics (HNSSAE, Algeria). She is an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Applied Economic Research for Development (CREAD) in Algeria. Her research focuses primarily on the economics of growth and institutions, with a particular interest in rentier states, the role of institutions in explaining unemployment dynamics, and informality. She has participated in research projects on the role of institutions and has also explored e-learning in Algeria and the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market.
