Lanouar Charfeddine

Full Professor of Economics, Qatar University

Dr. Charfeddine Lanouar is a full Professor of Economics and the acting head of the Research and Policy Unit at the Center of Entrepreneurship and Organizational Excellence, College of Business and Economics, Qatar University. His research spans digital assets, cryptocurrencies, tourism and energy economics, and environmental sustainability. He has published over 60 Scopus-indexed articles, attracting more than 7,300 citations on Google Scholar, in internationally renowned journals such as Tourism Management, Economic letters, Journal of Business Research, Tourism Recreation Research, Energy Economics, Energy Policy, and Tourism Recreation Research. He has secured over $5 million in competitive research grants as both LPI and PI.
