Jorge Arango is a seasoned industrial/mechanical engineer with focus on energy management and over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. Focusing on collaborative solutions to advance clean energy adoption, he has contributed to numerous renewable energy projects in Germany, Jordan and Egypt. Currently serving in the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) as Co-chair of the Egyptian German Joint Committee for Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental protection (JCEE) plays a leading role in forging partnerships, driving innovation to accelerate the energy transition.
