Ioannis Bournakis

Ioannis Bournakis has obtained his Masters in Economics and Econometrics from The University of Manchester, UK and his PhD in Economics from the University of Kent, UK. Prior to his position in AUC has held positions in Middlesex University, Birkbeck College, Regents University. He has published extensively in areas of applied macroeconomics, growth, productivity, innovation and trade. He has recently published in Economic Inquiry, Review of Incone and Wealth, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Regional Studies and Economic Modelling. He has acted as referee for many academic journals and has also published a book with Palgrave. Bournakis teaching expertise is in Macroeconomics, economic growth and international trade theory.
