Ibtisam H. Al Abri

Ibtisam Al Abri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resource Economics at Sultan Qaboos University and serves as the Assistant WTO Chair of Oman. She holds a PhD and MSc in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida. Her research specializes in economic modeling and forecasting, risk management, policy analysis, and natural resource economics. At the Central Bank of Oman, she is an Economic Expert in the Analysis and Economic Modelling Department, contributing to economic research and policy analysis. Al Abri has received numerous awards for her academic and research outputs and has actively participated in developing and reviewing academic programs. Her involvement in various national and international research projects underscores the practical application of her work to inform policy and enhance economic practices. Beyond academia, Al Abri is dedicated to community service activities, reflecting her commitment to societal development.
