H. Deniz Karaoglan Yurtseven

H. Deniz Karaoğlan Yurtseven is an Associate Professor of Economics at Gebze Technical University, Türkiye. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Middle East Technical University. Her research focuses on microeconometrics, health and labor economics, and gender disparities in education and health outcomes, with a particular interest in socioeconomic inequalities in developing countries. Dr. Karaoğlan Yurtseven has published widely in international journals such as the Journal of Population Economics, Child Indicators Research, and the European Journal of Development Research. Her recent projects examine early childhood development, NEET youth, and the socioeconomic impact of COVID-19 in Türkiye. She has coordinated and contributed to several The Scientific and Research Council of Türkiye (TUBİTAK)-funded research projects and serves as a referee for numerous international journals. She is a member of Turkish Economic Association.
