Gamze Ozturk Danisman

Dr. Gamze Ozturk Danisman is an Associate Professor of Finance at Istanbul Bilgi University, Turkey. She is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Limoges, France. Her research focuses on banking, financial intermediation, sustainable finance, corporate finance, and corporate governance. Her research so far has been published in several journals, including Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, the European Journal of Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, etc. She serves as an Associate Editor in the journal ‘Finance’, which is an academic journal of the French Finance Association. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Bogazici University, Turkey, in 2018. She has a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, USA. Prior to her doctoral studies, she had seven years of experience in the private sector and worked as a risk manager and financial controller in both financial and non-financial institutions.
