Dr. Foued Mattoussi is an assistant professor of economics at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Management Sciences of Jendouba. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Social Sciences of Toulouse I, affiliated with the Toulouse School of Economics. His research primarily focuses on development economics, with particular interest in water-related institutions, export and innovation dynamics, sustainable development, renewable energies, and financial economics. He regularly explores these topics using mathematical modeling and econometric methods, including causal inference models and recent techniques for handling missing data. He has published his work in several prestigious academic journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production and Economic Analysis and Policy, among others.
