Fatma Mabrouk is Research and Teaching Faculty Member at Princess Norah Bint Abdulrahman University- College of Business Administration - Department of Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics from both the University of Bordeaux (France) and the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia) with a highest honor and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University Paris Dauphine (France). She is an affiliate researcher at the Center for Economic and Social Studies and Research (CERES-Tunisia), at the CBA-PNU research centre (Saudi Arabia) and at the Research Group in Theoretical and Applied Economics (GREThA – University of Bordeaux-France). She has also experience as a data analyst at International Organization for Migrations and a junior consultant at the African Development Bank. Fatma Mabrouk research interests lie in the area of migration and remittances, trade and regional integration, food security, inclusive economic development through applied econometrics, quantitative and qualitative analysis. Recently, she received the Helen Potter Award (2019) for the best article in the Review of Social Economy and selected among 100 Young Experts Program (2017) by UNESCO in the context of the NET-MED Youth project.
