Farah Choucair
Project Manager, Arab Development Portal (ADP), UNDP
Farah Choucair is the Project Manager of the Arab Development Portal. She has been commissioned by the UNDP to lead on the conceptualization, design and expansion of the Portal since 2013. Upon the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, she led the process of designing and launching the first regional SDGs Tracking Tool for the Arab countries. Farah Choucair holds an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and has fifteen years of experience working with development agencies and leading research centers on issues that relate to economic reform, governance and social cohesion. She has been affiliated with UNDP since 2010 and has led the design of multidisciplinary analytical tools and contributed to producing knowledge and data on complex development topics such social cohesion and hate speech. She has also been co-leading a research project with the ERF on digital transformation in the Arab region.
