Independent Statistics Consultant

Emad Mansour is an independent statistics consultant who worked as a professional Statistician in the fields of statistics and economic research for more than twenty-five years in various capacities. His entire background has been in economics and statistics, mostly at Statistics Canada. As a statistician/ research analyst at Statistics Canada, his professional experience includes constructing price indexes, preparing research papers, developing statistical programs, survey designing, data capturing, data analysis, and conducting training workshops. He has developed quantitative and qualitative analysis and modeling skills while involving in different projects ranging from writing production programs to preparing research papers for publication. Mr. Mansour worked as a statistician/economist at Dubai Economic Council where he has been successful in applying statistics and economics principles to understand, analyze and draw conclusions from various data sets. He was also responsible for developing and translating information into industry insights and provided recommendations for economic policy. Mr. Mansour volunteered with United Nations Development program in Africa for many years where he taught various courses on developing statistical programs, economics and quantitative methods at more than eight different universities and government departments. Mr. Mansour holds a master degree in economics and statistics from the University of Ottawa.
