Ebaidalla Mahjoub Ebaidalla
Assistant Research Professor, Ibn Khaldon Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, Qatar University
Dr. Ebaidalla Mahjoub is an Assistant Research Professor at the Ibn Khaldon Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, Qatar University. He is actively involved in numerous research projects focusing on energy and development economics and has received grants from various regional and international organizations. Dr. Ebaidalla has a strong background in econometrics and quantitative analysis, and he has published several papers in international journals including Development Studies Research, Middle East Development Journal, International Journal of Social Economics, and African Development Review. He was a Research Fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota (2018-2019), USA, and a Visiting Scholar at the United Nations University, World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) in Helsinki, Finland (April-June 2019). Before joining Qatar University in 2021, he worked for over 10 years at the University of Khartoum, Sudan.
