Carla Daniela Calá is a professor of economics at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina. She studied economics at the same university and she completed an M.Sc. in Economics and Industrial Development at Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento, Argentina and a second M.Sc. in Industrial Organization at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, Spain. She received her Ph.D. in economics from the latter university in 2014. She has published several papers related to regional science in international journals. Her areas of interest are regional economics, productive structure, firm dynamics, and international trade.
